The Playground Pals (Peer Mediators) are a group of Year 5 and Year 6 children. Training is provided for them by JB Sports following the PACE scheme. PACE stands for Participation, Area, communication and Equipment. Children complete activities that are based on the qualities needed for good leaders.
The team are then responsible for supporting children on the playground during break and lunchtimes; leading games and solving minor conflicts.
